Join Us in Standing Together!
September 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrows is hosting an event on September 10th, 2026 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of 9/11 through remembrance, reflection, and a collective call for a more peaceful tomorrow.
Please feel free to join us for the entirety of the event or for the portion of the program that you connect with the most.
Program:
Union Square Park - Reflecting & Recommitting - 5pm
We will highlight the mission and work of Peaceful Tomorrows, reflecting on 25 years of advocacy, including efforts to support survivors of violence, oppose torture, promote accountability, and challenge policies rooted in the "War on Terror" framework.
The program will feature guest speakers from partner organizations who have worked alongside us in advancing shared commitments to peace, justice, and human rights. Together, we will explore how the legacy of 9/11 continues to shape our world and why creating a more peaceful and just world through the rule of law, human rights, and compassion, not endless war, remains as urgent today as ever.
As we mark this milestone anniversary, we invite all who share these values to join us in recommitting ourselves to a more peaceful and just future. By remembering the past we can help build a world that rejects cycles of violence and embraces justice, accountability, and our shared humanity.
Walk for a More Peaceful Tomorrow - 6pm
Join us as we walk from Union Square Park to Ground Zero at 6pm.
Silent Vigil at Ground Zero - 7:15pm
Please join us for a silent vigil at the 9/11 Memorial Site at Ground Zero, where we will have moments of silence to remember our loved ones.
This event will honor our loved ones lost on September 11 while uplifting the founding mission of September 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrows: transforming grief into actions for peace and justice, rejecting cycles of violence and war.

The focus on remembrance, peace, and standing together is really meaningful, especially for such an important anniversary. On a lighter note, free time is always good for a little fun, and Rocket Goal is a simple game that’s pretty relaxing to play for a few minutes.
Playing Snow Rider 3D is always exciting because every run feels different and challenging. The game perfectly mixes speed, timing, and obstacle avoidance into a fun arcade-style experience. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys casual online games!
In space waves, sometimes the best approach isn't to move a lot, but to maintain the correct trajectory. If the arrow is already in a safe zone, further adjustments can create new risks. Therefore, players need to learn to recognize when to maintain the direction and when to change.
