PANELIST: Prof. Mazin Qumsiyeh is founder and volunteer director of the Palestine Institute for Biodiversity and Sustainability, Bethlehem University. Qumsiyeh's many publications include the books “Sharing the Land of Canaan” and “Popular Resistance in Palestine”. Prof. Qumsiyeh has taught at several U.S. universities including Tennessee, Duke and Yale. In addition, he served on the board of eleven human rights advocacy organizations. In 2025 he was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. |
PANELIST: Rivera Sun has written numerous books and novels, including The Dandelion Insurrection and the award-winning Ari Ara Series. She is the editor of Nonviolence News and the Program Coordinator for Campaign Nonviolence. Her articles are syndicated by Peace Voice and published in hundreds of journals nationwide. Rivera Sun serves on the board of Backbone Campaign and the advisory board of World BEYOND War. |
PANELIST: Anna Zaros currently works for Nonviolent Peaceforce. She holds a Masters in International Peace Studies and has worked internationally with peacebuilding organizations as well as a case worker for victims and survivors of sex trafficking in Minnesota. |
